Four years in the making, the sixteen original acrylic paintings tell a story of how one plant survived and inspired artist Georgia Youngs. Through the paintings, she captured the subtle green tones as the leaves of a calla lily plant transformed over a three-month period. Each painting offers a gentle reminder of our earth’s plight as the calla lily symbolizes the process of growth and regeneration and the positive transformation from the old to the new.
